Winter Service:

Whilst road surface temperatures were forecast to fall close to freezing in some areas they were expected to remain above freezing. No salting has been undertaken. Road users should exercise caution when travelling.

 

Emergency News:

County Antrim

Recent heavy rainfall has caused a landslide adjacent to the A2 Belfast Road at Whitehead point. A lane restriction is in place to protect road users from the risk of a further collapse which may impact the road above. Temporary traffic lights have been installed and will remain in place until engineering remedial measures are completed.

  • Ferryhill Road, Cloughoge CLOSED.

Banbridge & Craigavon Council

  • Bartins Bay Rd, Aghagallon - CLOSED due to high water level of Lough Neagh

 

In the event of flooding, if anyone is in need of rescue dial 999 otherwise telephone the Flooding Incident Line on 0300 2000 100. The Flooding Incident Line provides the public with a single point of contact to report that their property is flooded or flooding.
