Belfast - the main entrance to Royal Victoria Hospital close to Broadway will be closed from Saturday 25th October at 07:00 to Sunday 26th October at 19:00 to carry out road re-surfacing work at the hospital entrance.
For the duration of the work diversions will be in place taking people to the Grosvenor Road Entrance or the Westlink Entrance, these entrances will remain open for the duration of the work. Pedestrian access at Broadway will be maintained.
Those travelling to the Hospital, for appointments, work and visitation are asked to allow extra time for their journey.
North Down - Essential gas network maintenance will take place at the junction of Main Street and Ballymullan Road, Crawfordsburn from Monday 13th October to Friday 24th October 2025.
Temporary traffic signals will be in place throughout the duration . Delays are expected, please allow extra travel time.

Castlereagh - Hospital Road / Hillhall Road will be closed from Milltown Road to Ballycoan Road from Saturday 25th Oct for 9 days until Sunday 2 November for essential NIE cabling works.
This has been programmed to be completed in the school half term holidays to reduce any possible congestion.
Diversion will be in place via Milltown Road , Upper Malone Road , and Drumbeg Road.
Drivers should allow additional time for their journey and use an alternative route if possible.
Temporary Continuous Road Closure to part of C184 Maydown Road, Benburb from its junction with B128 Clonfeacle Road to its junction with C186 Carrickaness Road.
This closure is required in the interests of public safety due to the partial collapse of a retaining wall and carriageway.
A local diversion is in operation via B128 Clonfeacle Road, B128 Blackwatertown Road, C185 Artasooly Road and C184 Maydown Road.

Road improvement scheme for Moira Road (phase 2), Lisburn.
A £333,000 carriageway and footway resurfacing scheme on A3 Moira Road, Lisburn commenced on Monday 8 September 2025.
The resurfacing scheme will extend for approximately 0.5 km from Rosevale Meadows to Ballycreen Drive.
To facilitate the scheme, it will be necessary to implement off-peak lane closures, controlled by temporary traffic lights, (Mon to Fri only) on Moira Road, between Rosevale Meadows and Ballycreen Drive, during the hours of 9.30am and 4.30pm from Monday 8 September 2025 until Friday 28 November 2025.
The Department has programmed the work operations and traffic management arrangements to minimise inconvenience, however, while steps have been taken to accommodate local access, road users should expect some delays and are advised to allow additional time when travelling in the vicinity of the works and are asked to comply with all temporary traffic restrictions.
Subject to favourable weather conditions, the works will be substantially complete by Friday 28 November 2025, however, the Department will keep the public informed of any change.

Co Londonderry - due to concerns over the structural stability of a retaining wall, the Kilrea Bridge which carries the B64 Bann Road over the River Bann has been closed in both directions, the road closure is in now in place as of 3pm Saturday 20th September.
Investigatory work, required to inform the design of a temporary solution, has already started on site. Within the next two to three weeks officials will have a clearer understanding of the available options and will be in a position to provide more detailed information on the proposed timeline for repairs.
Local diversions are in place and road users should adhere to the associated diversion signage, drive with due care and attention and allow extra time for their journeys.

ROAD REALIGNMENT ON THE COMBER ROAD, DUNDONALD AT MILLMOUNT
Comber Road Dundonald at Millmount will have a permanent 24/7 lane closure in place from Monday 25 August for two months.
This is to enable road realignment to take place as a result of the planning approval for a major housing and industrial site at the location.
Delays are expected so please allow extra time for your journey.
A full road closure will be required towards the end the works to allow for carriageway surfacing. However, this will take place over a weekend, Saturday and Sunday. The exact dates for this will be advertised nearer the time.
A £385,000 carriageway resurfacing scheme on Knockcairn Road, Crumlin will commence on Monday 18 August 2025.
The resurfacing scheme will extend for approximately 3.76 km from Garlandstown Road to Leathemstown Road.
To facilitate the scheme, it will be necessary to implement a road closure ( Mon to Fri only) on Knockcairn Road, between Garlandstown Road and Leathemstown Road, during the hours of 8am and 6pm from Monday 18 August 2025 until Friday 24 October 2025.
During periods of closure, a diversion will operate via Garlandstown Road, A26 Moira Road, Ballydonaghy Road, Dundrod Road, Leathemstown Road, and vice versa.

Belfast - a pedestrian and cycle improvement scheme in Lagmore Avenue, Belfast, part of the Belfast Cycling Network Delivery Plan, that includes segregated cycle tracks along Lagmore Avenue between the junction of Stewartstown Road and Glenfearna Park will commenced on 10 March 2025.
To help ensure the safety of road users and our road workers, it will be necessary to operate daily lane closures along Lagmore Avenue between 9.30am and 4.00pm (Mon- Fri) from 10 March until late March 2026.
Once completed this scheme will deliver improved active travel connections to local schools and amenities in the Lagmore area.
Safety will also be improved with the provision of two toucan crossings at existing crossing points and the introduction of raised table humps at all minor road accesses to further assist pedestrian and wheeled users.”

Durham Street Closure for essential Public Realm works
To facilitate essential public realm works around the new Belfast Grand Central Station, Durham Street (from Grosvenor Road to Hope Street) closed on Saturday 12 October 2024 and is expected to reopen by the end of November 2025.
Translink is encouraging people to consider using public transport to access the city during this next phase of works as road users can expect some delays.
Clearly signed diversionary routes will be in place for motorists that need to travel to the city and everyone is asked to follow these or to find an alternative route or way to travel.
B15 Glenshesk Road, Ballycastle (between Glenbank Road and Greenan Road) remains closed due to a landslide / partial road collapse on Wednesday 27 March 24.
The road may be closed for the foreseeable future given the severity of the collapse.
Road users should avoid the area and seek an alternative route for their journey.
