RSS Feeds
RSS feeds are available from the trafficwatchni.com website. Traffic feeds may be freely used on commercial sites subject to the following conditions:
- DfI Traffic Information and Control Centre is credited as the information source.
- All URLs in the feed are preserved and remain functional. These take users to pages on trafficwatchNI containing further information on each item.
- No guarantee is given as to availability or uptime of the feeds but we use our best endeavours to make the information available at all times.
- In the event that a degradation of the trafficwatchNI service is experienced as a result of a user or web sites direct use or linking to an RSS feed, DfI reserves the right to remove access to all RSS feeds.
Social Media
If you follow trafficwatchNI on our social media accounts, we do not automatically follow back. We will use hashtags and mention other social media accounts where appropriate. Being followed, using hashtags or mentioning other accounts does not imply endorsement of any kind.
We will retweet, like and share where we think it is useful but, again, this is not an endorsement.
Our social media accounts may occasionally be unavailable and we accept no responsibility for our lack of service due to any downtime.
We are not able to reply individually to all messages we receive on social media. Emerging themes or helpful suggestions are routinely passed on to policy colleagues in the department.
When you like, share or comment on one of our posts, you should be aware that this will be publicly available. If you post publicly on social media, we may share/retweet your post with our followers. Usernames of our followers are publicly available on our social media channels.
We may also receive information about you from third parties such as other social media users if they mention you or tag you.
